Every adoption at Daisy Fields is thoughtful and tailored — matching each rat's personality to the household that suits them best.
Join the Approved Adopters List
Adopters first apply to be added to my Approved Adopters List. Once babies are born, I evaluate them carefully.
Temperament Testing & Holdbacks
After completing temperament testing and selecting my holdbacks, I begin contacting adopters. This typically happens around five weeks of age.
Thoughtful Matching
I reach out to adopters in the order I see fit to ensure each rat finds the most suitable home. Full payment is required as a deposit for new adopters, while returning adopters may place a 50% deposit.
I also make suggestions based on what I know about your household and the unique personality of each rat. This way, every adoption is thoughtful and tailored — giving my babies the very best start in their new families.
